Sing, Choirs of Angels!

This morning I went to the special Christmas performance of Music and the Spoken Word with Michael York and David Archuleta.  It was MAGICAL! I will buy that CD when in comes out next year.

So while we were waiting in line to get into the conference center I randomly ran into Minnie and Hannah. This was our real conversation via text while we were there,
Me: "Where are you sitting"
Minnie: "We are down in plaza seven. Where are you?"
Me: "Up on the balcony section 9"
Minnie: "Too bad you are so far away!  We are almost close enough to see the sparkle in David Archuleta's eyes."
Bahahaha, But seriously, he was amazing.
I'm pretty sure I was grinning as big as half the ladies in the choir through the entire concert.

Oh Christmas Tree!

The tree is finally all fluffed! (not that it has been up for a few weeks or anything...)  Of course it is not decorated, along with the rest of the house, because that is quite the process... But it is beautiful especially at night when the blinds are open and the outside lights are on and you can see it through the window... I love that.
Mom I really wish you were here to decorate the house with me!
Today has been awesome.  I went out to Dog and Marsha's house yesterday and slept over there so I could go hear Elder L. Tom Perry speak in his stake today.  We got to shake his hand afterward, it was pretty dang cool.  Then we had dinner over there and watched the First Presidency Christmas Devotional.  It just gets me into the Christmas spirit and makes me want to be a better person.  I'd say it was a pretty good week.
